No matter which pilot certificate or rating you are seeking, we offer a variety of options.
TYPE OF TRAINING
You must choose whether you wish to train under Part 141 or Part 61 of the Federal Aviation Regulations. No matter which Part you choose, you'll still receive the same pilot certificates, ratings, and privileges at the end of your training. The training is essentially the same, but Part 141 training follows a predetermined format and requires formal ground school attendance. Part 61 training does not require formal ground school attendance.
Which Part is right for you? If you are not a legal U.S. resident, you will need us to sponsor you for the M-1 student visa. This means you must train under Part 141 and you must purchase one of our Part 141 training packages. Click here for course admission information.
If you are a legal U.S. resident, you may choose either Part 141 or Part 61. If you're available full-time for training (5 days per week, 8 hours per day), Part 141 would be your best choice. If you are available part-time for training, then Part 61 is your only option. (At this time,
our Part 141 courses require full-time enrollment.)
PAYMENT METHODS
All Part 141 courses require you to purchase one of our training packages before enrolling in the course. See below for details on course content, prices, and policies. An important note: Since we cannot predict the skills and competency level of each student in advance, the package prices shown below are APPROXIMATE PRICES. If you complete your training in the hours listed, you will pay the prices shown below. If you need additional training, additional fees will be assessed.
If you train under Part 61, you can pay 'by the hour.' This is the most popular option for our Part 61 students. If you pay by the hour, advance payment is not required. You simply pay an hourly rate for aircraft rental, an hourly rate for instruction, plus whatever fuel you use during your flight. You only pay after each lesson, but you will pay separately for the various components of your training (aircraft rental, fuel, instruction, pilot supplies, etc.)
Or, you may purchase a training package for Part 61 training, in which case full advance payment is required. However, the package deal price includes virtually everything you'll need throughout your training: aircraft rental, flight and ground instruction, aviation fuel, aviation charts, training materials, FAA computerized exam fees, and FAA practical test ("checkride" fees).
